Update: Death toll increases to 5 in N11 crash (Warning: graphic content)

The death toll has increased to 5 in this morning’s motor vehicle accident on the N11.

A Nissan X-Trail crashed through the S-Bridge onto the railway lines below and burst into flames, killing all the occupants. Initial reports were that 3 people burnt to death in the fire, but now it has sadly been confirmed that 5 people lost their lives.

The accident took place on the S-Bend near the Pepworth turn-off.
