Mahloni Primary School – Becoming ‘future giants’

There were twelve districts fighting for the championship and competition was tough. Mahloni dancers learned a lot from the experience which will help them in building for the future. They represented their school with honour and dignity.

The Indigenous Music and Dance Provincial Championship took place on September 11 at Amajuba District in the Newcastle Farmers’ Hall.

Mahloni Primary School represented Zululand District in two categories: Isicathamiya and Afro-Religious Music with Accompaniment.

There were twelve districts fighting for the championship and competition was tough. Mahloni dancers learned a lot from the experience which will help them in building for the future. They represented their school with honour and dignity.

The school would like to thank the pupils for their hard work and the staff for their support and encouragement, preparing learners to become future giants.
