Breaking News: Farm robbery just outside Ladysmith

A case of theft of equipment has been opened by Ladysmith police

Farmer Mr Louw Joubert woke up this morning to find that his store had been broken into on the Kwa Manzini road to Hobsland. He contacted Secure SA, who immediately responded.

Gas bottles, trolleys with gauges, pipes and a cutting torch were stolen.

Police, including K9 officers, also responded and conducted a search of the surrounding area.

The first gas bottle and gas trolley were found about 120m from Mr Joubert’s house while the search was on.

A case of theft of equipment has been opened by Ladysmith police.

The total value of the stolen equipment is around R7000.
