About 4 200 high school pupils from across South Africa recently participated in the regional round of the Emalehleni English Orators competition.
45 Grade 10 to 12 pupils, as well as 35 Grade 8 and 9 pupils attended the finals in Witbank.
The following Ferrum High School pupils were invited to attend the finals: Zama Buthelezi, Sli Msane, Seneme Ndawonde, Lethokuhle Ntshangase, Aidan Wilson, Ntando Khulu, Phiwe Mpofana, Tristan Venter and Marqeurita Kruger.
All the pupils received gold certificates for their efforts. Congratulations to Marqeurita Kruger, who placed second in the Grade 8 and 9 category.
