Running for culture at the Newcastle Mall Heritage Day fun run
Heritage Day was a special day when South Africans stood as one and proudly displayed their cultural heritage. Marking the day, Newcastle Mall held its annual Heritage Day 8 kilometre trail fun run.

Marking the day, Newcastle Mall held its annual Heritage Day 8 kilometre trail fun run.
People from all walks of life supported the day by participating in the event.
The first male and female winners won R2000 shopping vouchers, while
the second place winners were awarded R1500 shopping vouchers and third
place winners walked away with R1000 vouchers.
Entertainment was also made available for the less sporty community.
Singers, such as Ruan Nel and Leendert Breedt, wooed the audience with their voices, while dancers from Aja Nachale Dance School awed guests with their dancing skills.
Ending the event on a high note, Newcastle Mall donated R2 500 to Khulisa Social Solutions.
