Well, call me old-fashioned, but saying there is water on Mars but no life is concerning. NASA always claimed the red planet closest to us was barren, a dry desert wasteland, and suddenly it has water?

Did all NASA’s rover missions and other vehicles land in deserts? Or is it more a case of: as our technology improves, we are detecting stuff we previously did not.

Now I am not saying we will discover strange creatures taking baths or anything so melodramatic. But in an age where global communication and the internet has shrunk our own world, it seems it is shrinking our galaxy as well. Pluto apparently had water at one stage as well…
