Police disperse angry protesters on R103

The authorities had to disperse an angry crowd along the R103 earlier this evening.

Protesters were burning tyres and would not let any motorists pass through.

RTI and police reacted quickly and chased the mob away.

The road is now open to motorists.

Police and RTI are monitoring the area.
