Determined to find their missing teacher
It came as a great shock when they heard the terrible news they had been dreading
In an attempt to find a missing teacher, Amancamakazana Primary School learners and Soul Buddyz went out to the Ladysmith Oval Shopping Complex on Friday afternoon. There, they held up placards with slogans and photos of Patrick Munto Mzolo who, at that stage, had been missing for three weeks.
Mr Mzolo served as a Zulu teacher for years at the primary school. The learners, together with the educators, wanted people to see his face in the hopes that someone would recognise Mr Mzolo and know where he was.
It came as a great shock when they heard the terrible news they had been dreading. Their teacher was found dead that same afternoon along the banks of the Klip River.
He was a loving and compassionate educator who always put education first. He has left many memories at the school and has been a role model to many. Condolences to the family.
