Throwing the bones in Egerton play

Dressed up in their cute little costumes, the children did a good job of entertaining an appreciative audience

Egerton Primary School presented their play ‘Throw Those Bones’ on Wednesday and Thursday evening in the school hall.

The children were dressed up in their little costumes and entertained the huge crowd.

The play was about a Zulu queen who wanted to be the “fairest of them all” and was furious when she found out there was another girl who was more beautiful than her. The queen arranged for the girl to be killed, but the warrior who was assigned to carry out the dastardly deed decided to go against the queen’s orders and spare the young girl’s life.

Animals in the forest performed well-choreographed dances, which added to a night of sparkling entertainment.

The little performers brought a whole other world to life on stage!
