Time trials has proven week after week, that no matter who joins, young, old, thin, fat, weak, strong, male or female, you are guaranteed to get fit and lose weight at the same time improving your walk or run time.
This is what the present walkers and runners are proving week after week at time trials.
Ivan “The Conqueror” destroyed his 2km run time by over 45s in a time of 11m 01s.
In the 3km run the ever “Miss Consistent” Jayrushka ran her personal best 17m 08s.
In the 4km run, the fastest lady around Nicky “The Flying” Williams once again blasted home as the first lady in just over 17m.
Rikesh “M3” proved too strong in the male 4km run romping home in a time of 17m 47s.
The start of the second time trial on a Saturday proved extremely successful with “Flying” Nicky smashing the all time female 10km record in 49m 40s followed by Jayrushka “Miss Consistent” in 1hr 11s and Ivan “The Conqueror” Naidoo in 1hr 15s.
There was also a cycle event in which “M3” Rikesh and “Mr Determined” Shivi finished the 10km event in a time of 54m 55s.
Please note that Time Trials, takes place every Wednesday at 17:20 in front of Dundee Junior School on Excelsior Lane. It is open to the public, young or old and is free.
