Vivacious Volkies dazzle at Valentine’s Ball
Pupils were dressed to impress!
Volksrust High School held it’s annual Valentine’s Ball on Thursday, February 11.
Pupils attended the event, dressed in their best outfits.While young love was definitely in the air, pupils made sure the evening was one to remember.
The school principal thought the wonderful thing about school activities like the Valentine’s ball was that it united the students by having them share in fun occasions.
The event was planned and organised by the Grade 9 RCL members:
Carli Strydom, Wian Moolman, Gaby Wilken, Janey Lombard, Janco Oosthuizen, Ntokozo Sibeko, Malibongwe Mkhwanazi, Sep Uys, Thando Tshabalala, Ndumseni Ngwenya and Franco Badenhorst worked really hard to make the dance a success.
Heinrich Lambrecht, Stefan Vogel and Jaco Smalberger were the DJ’s of the evening, and ensured the teens danced the night away to fun beats.
The school sent a special thank you to Petra Moolman, who went out of her way to help make sure the evening went smoothly. No function would be successful without the help and support of parents, so thanks were issued to them as well.
