Man attacked, stabbed on Willson Street
Witnesses said the desperate screams of a woman were heard at about 3.30am
There has been yet another brutal attack in central Dundee. This comes after a man was stabbed in Sibongile on Friday night.
The latest attack was on Willson Street, near the corner with Grey Street. Witnesses living around the corner told the Courier that they heard the piercing scream of a woman at around 3.30am this morning.
By then police and security guards from Mbube Security were already on the scene. Witnesses said two women were also on the scene. The man was lying in the gutter and appeared to have lost a lot of blood.

It is thought that he would have never survived the wounds he had suffered. A broken bottle neck was found nearby but it is unclear if this was the weapon used in the attack. The house, in front of which the attack occurred, is derelict and residents say it is a ‘hangout for undesirables including prostitutes and vagrants’.
Police are investigating and updates will be provided as and when this are received.
