Bayer assisting farmers during the drought

Touched by the plight of farmers affected by the persistent drought, Bayer Animal Health came to the rescue to alleviate their plight.

Meeting with farmers at Hinterland (Afgri), Johan Ferreira, Bayer agent for Northern KwaZulu-Natal (NKZN), donated tick dip to them on behalf of the company.

“These are tough times, and Bayer decided to donate excess stock to benefit those in need. In winter, there is very little grass available for cattle and this will be a cost saver for farmers. Instead of spending money on dip, they can rather purchase bales for their animals,” he concluded.
