Three vehicles collide on Easter Sunday
Six people were injured when three vehicles collided on the Steildrift road on March 27.
Six people were injured when three vehicles collided on the Steildrift road on March 27.
According to reports, two light motor vehicles and a bakkie were involved.
“One light motor vehicle lay on its roof on the side of the road,” read a statement issued by ER24.
Upon assessment, paramedics found that five occupants of the vehicle that overturned, as well as the driver of the bakkie sustained injuries.
“Two of the patients were a boy and a girl, aged two and four.”
Fortunately, the patients had only sustained minor injuries, and were treated on scene before being transported to a hospital nearby for further care.
The cause of the collision is unclear at this stage, but authorities were on the scene to conduct preliminary investigations.
