An official arrest has been made by Operation Rastaman, a project initiated by the Dundee SAPS to investigate the rampant house breaking cases in the area.
Mncedisi Khuzwayo who is linked to most house breaking cases in this area, was arrested on Tuesday by the police task team.
Khuzwayo, a local man who is in mid twenties, also appeared at the Dundee Magistrate’s Court this week.
Khuzwayo matched the description given to the police by residents.
He is not linked to the murder of Banele Ndlela-Phungula.
