CPF safety tips for the community
The community at large needs to stay vigilant of their surroundings at all times.
With the recent streak in the brazen break-ins and robberies, the Dundee Community Policing Forum (CPF) offer the community tips to stay safe and hopefully avoid being targeted by criminals.
People are being robbed in the streets and isolated places:
- Do not use your cellphone when there are a group of strangers around you
- Do not keep your cellphone and earphone exposed when walking in the street or in an isolated area. Put your cellphone in the pocket and use only if necessary.
- Avoid isolated places and dark places, especially at night.
- If you leave for an isolated place, leave your details with a trustworthy person who can call for help if you do not return at a designated time.
