Zimele writes her way to the top

Zimele Mnguni, a Grade 8 learner at Sarel Cilliers, is reaching new heights in South Africa after she published her first book last year.

Her book, ‘Liana’s Surprise’, is about a little girl who is sent away from Swaziland to a small rural town in Northern KwaZulu Natal, touches on various issues about family, trust and learning to forgive.

She will be interviewed today at 1pm by SAFM radio station.

Her publisher, Mr SSS Mhlungu from Vryheid, is an author and member of the Vryheid Writers Association.

He used to be in the police force and has published a few self-help books himself.
