Bulldogs stay on top after another win
The Bulldogs have scored 32 tries this season, only letting two tries through
On Friday afternoon last week, the Clover Leaf Bulldogs hosted Voortrekker Old Boys Rugby Club from Pietermaritzburg.
The Bulldogs won the fierce encounter 22-0. This game earned them a bonus point, as they scored four tries. The try scorers were Mark Abbot, Paul Barnard, Brett Mc Master and Nathan Viljoen. Only one try was converted by Duran Law.
The Bulldogs have scored 32 tries this season, only letting two tries through. No tries or any points for that matter have been scored against them in 270 minutes of playing time. Well done, boys, this is amazing!
The Bulldogs have scored 208 points, with 10 against them.
We are now halfway through the season and still comfortably in first place on the log.
‘Man of the match’ for the backs was Nathan Viljoen and for the forwards none other than our captain courageous, Izak Boshoff.

We also wish Paul Barnard a speedy recovery after being injured.
Our next game is against Drakensberg at Settlers Park on Friday afternoon, May 20, so please come and support our boys, as this game will probably decide who wins the league. We won the first encounter in Winterton. The farmer boys will definitely be coming here to even the score, so please support our boys to stay on top.
