Launch to connect farming and food

'Farm to Fork' is a group of farmers' wives whose aim is to connect people to the food they eat and the farm it is grown on

The ‘Farm to Fork’ KZN launch lunch was held on Saturday afternoon at Hlanganani Weddings & Functions venue on the N11.

People joined the organisation for a lovely 3-course meal, snacks and drinks.

‘Farm to Fork’ is a group of farmers’ wives who became friends through a wonderful farming community. Their aim is to connect people to the food they eat and the farm it is grown on.

Yesterday’s lunch was an example of this. From the butter and bread to the food, everything was grown and picked on a farm and cooked for the guests.

There were even horses for the guests to pet and interact with.

Everyone present devoured the scrumptious spread, including a Ladysmith Gazette journalist who really enjoyed the friendly help and delicious cuisine.
