Sewing ladies help children smile again
About 20 ladies are involved in this drive

A handful of ladies gathered at the Methodist Church yesterday (Wednesday) morning to make theatre nighties for ‘Operation Smile’. This initiative believes that every child suffering from a cleft lip or cleft palate deserves exceptional surgical care.
Operation Smile’s family of medical volunteers, donors and staff are committed to not only reaching patients, but also breaking down obstacles to surgery through education, training, medical diplomacy and advocacy.
They do this by working together with government agencies, local health systems, non-profit organisations and any like-minded partners to deliver care.
“All patients deserve comprehensive healthcare and a chance for greater wellbeing.”
About 20 ladies are involved in this drive.
The friendly ladies are determined to make each child smile and to help as much as possible in this regard.
