Dancing with Dreams – Inkamana High School says ‘thank you’
'WHEN you come to the end of a perfect day...' to quote the old song in a different way: When you come to the end of a wonderful show, nothing remains but to say thank you !

After months of rehearsals, Dancing with Dreams was put on stage from May 16 – 21. It was a challenge to perform twice every morning to Vryheid schools and still give each show the best. The students of Inkamana took this challenge and enjoyed it very much.
We would like to sincerely thank Landbou, Lucas Meyer, Nardini, NRS, Pionier, Risen Son and Vryheid High School, who supported the show with such enthusiastic audiences. From the little ones to the most senior learners, including teachers and the principals of these schools, accept appreciation for your support! Thank you also to the public of Vryheid as well as the parents and alumni of Inkamana who attended the shows.
This production however, would not have been possible except for the enthusiasm and professional choreography created by Ms Caralee Joubert. She spent many hours at Inkamana teaching and refining the dance moves – without which, a show called Dancing with Dreams would not have been put on stage. Thank you!
A big thank you is also due to Ms Nina van Rensburg and her staff at Lizard Interiors for selling the tickets on the school’s behalf. It is not easy to advertise by means of posters in Vryheid – therefore it is all the more appreciated that some could be put up at Pick’n Pay, Fabric Fun, Factory Shop, the Library and of course the banner on the corner of NRS – a big thank you to Mr Jonker, the principal. Thank you to the Vryheid Herald for also supporting the show.
Above all we would like to thank our Father in heaven for the talent and the opportunity to praise His name in this joyful way.
Hospice has invited the school to present a short extract of the show at their fundraising function on May 28 at Vryheid High School. The students are looking forward to being on stage once more and trust that you will join them to enjoy singing and dancing from Dancing with Dreams.
