The chilly grip of winter is certainly in the air and extra blankets, jackets and jerseys are piled on.

Thanks to Estcourt Round Table 74 many families who did not have these cold season necessities will be warmer this winter.

Following a successful Winter Knights drive held outside Spar on May 20, blankets, warm clothes and non-perishable food items that were collected, have been donated to the Thembelisha Care Project Organisation.

The Tablers would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the Al-Imdaad Foundation that donated 50 blankets as well as Wotton Under Edge Round Table from the United Kingdom for the cash donation of R10 000, which was utilised to purchase groceries.
