Two injured in three car pile-up

PIONEER PARK – Two people sustained injuries, following a three car pile-up on Allen Street at around 4.10pm.

According to officials at the scene, a vehicle swerved to avoid causing an accident, which in turn resulted in three cars colliding.

“Two patients sustained minor injuries, and were transported to hospital for further treatment,” claimed an official, who opted to remain anonymous.

While the exact cause of the collision is unclear at this stage, police investigations continue.
