One more killer off the streets

ANOTHER suspect has been arrested in connection with the April murder of Billy Van Rooyen and his father-in-law, Ronnie Lombard.

Police have been working tirelessly to bring the farm attackers to book and their efforts have paid off, with several arrests being made in both the Van Rooyen farm attack, which claimed two lives and the farm attack which took place on May 13 at Lüneberg, where 77-year-old Friedel Filter was gunned down in front of his family.

Three suspects were arrested in connection with the murder of Friedel Filter and appeared in court in Paulpietersburg on May 30

The latest arrest in the Van Rooyen case brings the total number of criminals apprehended to seven, one deceased and six in custody, but further arrests are anticipated.
