Your pint will save lives

You too can help save lives by donating a pint of blood at the Forderville Primary School Hall this Sunday, July 10

We often hear the phrase: ‘Donate a pint of blood and save a life‘ and blood donors are exactly this…lifesavers.

Donated blood is used by the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) for emergencies like in the case of accidents or women who experience complications during pregnancies.

Transfusions are also given to people undergoing operations or patients suffering from cancer or leukaemia. Each unit of blood saves up to three lives.

You too can help save lives by donating a pint of blood at the Forderville Primary School Hall this Sunday, July 10. SANBS together with the Sathya Sai Seva Organisation (Estcourt Sai Centre) will be welcoming blood donors from 10am until 2pm.

An urgent appeal is made to locals to support the donor clinic, especially during the holiday period when blood stocks are needed.
