Muddy terrain no match for cyclists
A FEW brave cyclists from Vryheid did the Kwambo Lion MTB race on Sunday, doing well despite the wet and muddy conditions.

A FEW brave cyclists from Vryheid did the Kwambo Lion MTB race on Sunday, doing well despite the wet and muddy conditions.
Rian Swanepoel was third in the Masters category in the 50km and Lize Swanepoel had a great race, coming third overall in the 50km and first in her age category.
Frances Janse van Rensburg was leading the 25km Ladies’ race until she had technical problems, but she still managed to win her age category. Ernest Fransen also had problems with the mud and could not finish but he is still leading the series in his age category.
Ryno Swanepoel did well, coming second in the under 16 category and Jabulani Xulu managed to finish the 50km in a good time. Well done to all.
