Unity Festival to celebrate brotherly-sisterly love

Hundreds of people attend in commemoration of the love brothers and sisters have for each other

The Young Hindu Cultural Service Society will be hosting its annual Raksha Bandhan Unity Festival on Saturday, August 6, at the SDS Hall, starting at 5.30pm.

Hundreds of people attend in commemoration of the love brothers and sisters have for each other, and to enjoy the amazing line-up of entertainment on stage.

Song and dance will be the highlight of the night, including a Raksha Bhandan debs ball in which seven beautiful young girls are participating.

Raksha Bandhan is a Hindu festival that celebrates the love and duty between brothers and sisters; the festival is also popularly used to celebrate any brother-sister relationship between men and women who are relatives or biologically unrelated.

Tickets are available from the lovely debutantes.
