Dundee Junior’s bumper book fair
All welcome to come and have a look.
Diskonto Books will have a giant book display at Dundee Junior School from August 15 to 17. (Times: August 15, 11am – 4pm, August 16, 7am – 4pm, and August 17, 7am -12am).
They offer a large variety of fiction and non-fiction books direct to the public at affordable prices. All welcome to come and have a look. Debit / credit cards are welcome.
Astro quiz is tops
On July 22 Dundee Junior School’s Astro quiz team took part against 30 other schools in round two of the National Astronomy Quiz Competition, hosted by SAASTA. The DJS team did very well and came first in this round. Rounds three and four will take place on August 26 in Richards Bay. DJS played against Glencoe. Results are as follows: u/11: DJS 66/8 (20 overs) Glencoe 68/2 (20 overs).
Glencoe won by two runs u/13: 91/7 (20 overs) Glencoe 33 all out. DJS won by 58 runs.
