Counting in the Emnambithi/Ladysmith Muncipality has not been recorded officially as yet. With the municipality, which now includes the former Indaka municipality, only sitting at 59% votes counted.

Okhahlamba Municipality (Bergville) is at 94% counted and Estcourt/ Loskop is at 85% counted. This does not mean counting is in progress it just means data has not been fully submitted to IEC central to be recorded.

Until all three municipality’s results are in, the fate of uThukela District Municipality hangs in the balance.

Currently the ANC is in a leading position but anything can happen!
