Raksha Bandhan Festival and Debs Ball

The Young Hindu Cultural Service Society hosted a Raksha Bandhan Unity Festival last night at the SDS Temple in Forbes Street.
A variety of performances entertained the guests but the highlight of the evening was the Raksha Bandhan Debs Ball in which seven beautiful young girls participated.
The ladies and young girls dressed up in beautiful, colourful saries and punjabies to signify the affectionate bond they share with their brothers. The money raised will be used to complete the building of a community hall which is situated at 69 Kandahar Avenue, Ladysmith.
