DHS’s tennis team smashes opponents

The team was up againt St Dominic’s team fro Newcastle.

On Friday, August 5, Dundee High School tennis team travelled to Newcastle to go up against the St Dominic’s team. The Spirits were high as they arrived at the Academy in their newly sponsored attire from Burnt Orange, organised by Mrs Kotzé. The team enjoyed an overwhelming victory of 7 – 3 and did not leave much room for their opponents to breathe. Janco Kotzé won his game 8 – 0, Dylan Maré was able to win his nail-biting game in a tie-breaker and Bryce Sharp, who played as a level one player for the first time, also won his game. The school would like to congratulate these young athletes for their superb behavior on and off the field and wish them the best for the rest of their season.
