H.O.P.E brings Women together

WITH the aspiration to help women reconnect with their inner-strength and all around 'awesome-ness,' Holistic Options for People's Empowerment (HOPE) founder, Nadine Pillay, invited local women to her annual women's empowerment session.

WITH the aspiration to help women reconnect with their inner-strength and all around ‘awesome-ness,’ Holistic Options for People’s Empowerment (HOPE) founder, Nadine Pillay, invited local women to her annual women’s empowerment session.

With this year’s title being ‘I am awesome’, the session focused on empowering women by reminding them of the importance of loving and valuing themselves.

“There are various obstacles that stand in the way of a woman embracing her awesome-ness. These could be belief systems or things that have been said about us, our body images, etc, that left an imprint in our lives forever.

The need to receive validation from those around us, fear, whether it is that of succeeding or the fear of becoming an absolute failure in life, and negative self talk are also issues that many women have a hard time dealing with, and this gets in the way of them becoming the best version of themselves that they can be,” said Nadine.

With lots of fun, laughter, great food and good music, new friendships were formed and each woman remembered just why they are ‘awesome’.
