Police investigate ‘mystery shooting’ at Glencoe home

It is not clear if the incident was related to a taxi dispute or another business feud

Police are investigating a shooting incident at a Glencoe house after a group of men arrived at a house on Northfield Crescent in the early hours of last Monday.

Witnesses said the 25-year-old man who lives in the house was disturbed by a ‘noise from outside’. Upon investigating he saw a group of men at the gate and demanded that they be let into the property. He refused and an argument ensued during which a shot was fired by one of the men. No one was injured and the group of men fled. The motive for the attack is being investigated.
