uThukela have announced that water-shedding is more severe than initially reported.

There will be no morning water turned on at all, so people will have to last without water for 19 hours.

Water will be cut from tonight at 8pm until tomorrow afternoon at 3pm.

It will remain on for 5 hours only.

So, at 8pm on Saturday night, it will again be cut till 3pm on Sunday afternoon.

These restrictions will remain in force until further notice.

Residents are urged to stockpile water whenever the taps are flowing.
