Spring is finally here and there is no reason to be indoors today!
If you have children and nothing to do with the little ones or you are sitting at home bored, get up and get to one of these fun events.
* Spring Market Day at Natural Health Centre (403 Murchison Street) from 9am to 3pm. Here is something for everyone, young and old, with delicious food stalls and toys for the little ones. Go and support your local business people. For more info, call Haylene on 072-445-5666.
* Juana Maria Home Fête at 60 Francis Road, starting at 8am. Join in the fun morning that will feature school choirs, Marimba Band, stalls and bargains galore. Support the oldies. Contact Jacobie Gryffenberg on 036-631-0698 for collections of donations, etc.
* The Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) will be having a golf / bowls day at the Country Club. For more info, call 076-151-1784.
* Islamic Educational Centre (IEC) annual Food Fair from 9am to 5pm. This is a family fun day featuring Eastern cuisine, a food court, tea garden, stalls, a flea market, activities and fun for all ages, and fantastic prizes to be won. For mothers, it is a ‘rest day’, with no cooking, so they can pamper themselves with the tasty treats on offer. In addition, there will be kiddies jumping castles, pony rides and quad bikes. That means the IEC is the place to be!
