5SAI celebrates Heritage Day in style

Soldiers belonging to various cultures took part in a competition and were seen dancing to represent their respective traditions

In commemoration of Heritage Day, soldiers at 5SAI army camp celebrated today (September 23) by dressing up in cultural clothing and enjoying traditional food.

Soldiers belonging to various cultures – including Zulu, Xhosa and Tshwane – took part in a competition and were seen dancing to represent their respective traditions.

All “decked out” in their Heritage Day outfits and enjoying the scrumptious food on offer, the soldiers were seen having a great time as they learned more about each other’s cultures.
