Local motorists have often been puzzled, frustrated and even angered by the ongoing discussion on negotiatingtraffic roundabouts or traffic circles as these are called in South Africa.
Trucks bash down the traffic signs, damage the paving and motorists simply go through or stop dead.
Remember: a circle is not a four-way stop, and you give way to traffic coming in from your right, all of it. Approach the roundabout at a reduced speed, and do not drive over it.
