Petrol price set to increase tomorrow
Core factors in the increase are the rand/US dollar exchange rate and the price increase of crude oil

The Department of Energy has announced that the price of all petrol and diesel grades will increase tomorrow (October 5).
Based on local and international factors, ULP and LRP will increase by 43 cents a litre and diesel by 23 cents a litre.
Core factors in the increase are the rand/US dollar exchange rate and the price increase of crude oil.
Sister paper Northglen News reported: “The sharp fall in US crude (oil) stocks pushed the prices up ahead of an oil producers’ meeting in Algeria, which was planned to take place on September 28, and speculation of a production freeze,” the Department of Energy said.
