Motoring enthusiasts gear up for a dazzling display at Talana Live

For the first time, a selection of new vehicles from a number of dealers will also be on display.

It’s that time of the year again  when motoring enthusiasts will once again be treated to a dazzling display of motoring history with interesting old and current motor cars, motorcycles, vintage tractors and stationary engines on display at the Talana Museum on Saturday,  October. 22
Motor clubs from Vryheid, Newcastle, Ladysmith Glencoe and as far afield as Gauteng  Pietermaritzburg and Burn Valley Museum in Richmond, will be descending on Dundee with what promises to be a mouth-watering selection of vehicles including  some not previously seen locally.
For the first time, a selection of new vehicles from a number of dealers will also be on display.
There are a number of very interesting cars in  Dundee and surrounding areas and we appeal to the owners dust off their treasures and to come along and be part of the show.
Entrance to participants and their passengers is free and each entrant  will receive a certificate with a photograph of their vehicle which is suitable for framing.
They will also have free access to the museum and the re-enactment of the battle of Talana
A non-denominational “Boomkerk” service will be held commencing 08H30 – 09H00 on Sunday,  October 23, beneath trees below the Shozaloza train.
Bikers and non-bikers are welcome to attend, and as bonus a mouthwatering selection of motorcycles will be on display.
A breakfast bar will be available after the service so come along and enjoy a scrumptious breakfast.
