Robbers grind their way into ATM
Businesses and the community are requested to be alert to any dye-stained money surfacing in the area
Robbers cut through an Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) to get to the money inside, and got away with a large amount of cash yesterday (October 6) in Ezakheni.
Shortly before 11am, employees at the store in E-Section where the ATM is located noticed that it was not working.
Upon closer inspection, they found that the ATM had been damaged and entry had been gained into the machine.
It is unclear how much money was taken, but it may have been dye stained during the theft.
Businesses and the community are requested to be alert to any dye-stained money surfacing in the area and surrounding towns.
Should you come across any such money, please alert police so they can trace the origin of the money.
Ezakheni police are investigating a case of theft.
