Golfers came out to support the Pro Nobis School charity golf day

Forty-four golfers came out to support the Pro Nobis School charity golf day, on Saturday, at the Dundee Country Club, an event kindly sponsored by T-Shirts 4 Afrika.
Winning the 4 BBBS format competition was the pairing of Joe Khumalo and Mandla Mthethwa on 48 better ball points, and coming in second place, two points behind on 46 points, was the combination of Marc Bradbury and Wynand Ackermann.

Richard Catlett and his partner Coenie Munro, finished in third place on 44 points, and managing to take fourth position on a count out, was the pairing of Robert Khumalo and Blessing Chiwaya on 42 points.
Henk Booysen enjoyed two great tee shots, on both the 4th and 8th holes to pick up the prize for ‘Nearest The Pin’ on both of these holes, while Danie Von Mollendorff and the diminutive Reynier Van Rensburg (Jnr) won the prizes on the 12th and 16th holes respectively.

A reminder to all local businesses and golfers that Dundee Country Club’s biggest fund-raising golf day, ‘The Corporate Classic,’ takes place next Friday, November 25, which promises to not only be a wonderful day of golf but also offers plenty to eat and drink, as well as the evening’s live entertainment.
