Pedestrian killed on Allen Street

ALLEN STREET – A woman has been killed after she was knocked by a taxi on the corner of Oak and Allen Street, earlier this evening.

According to sources at the scene, the woman was crossing the road when she was hit by the car.

Paramedics attempted to revive the patient, however, she was declared dead at the scene.

All emergency personnel are on scene to determine the exact cause of the incident.
