Owners and their pets gather for Dog-A-Thon fun

Pet owners were there with their pooches to go on a 3km walk around the block

The Animal Anti-Cruelty League’s (AACL) annual Dog-A-Thon was held on Saturday afternoon at Agar Field.

Pet owners were there with their pooches to go on a 3km walk around the block.

Some of the less friendly dogs had to walk ahead or keep to the back, so as to keep their teeth to themselves!

Dogs were dressed to impress, wearing ties and tutus.

Back on the field, there were prizes for various categories such as ‘best trick’, ‘best rescue dog’, ‘best dressed dog’, ‘most well behaved dog’ and ‘dog and owner who look the most alike’. Well done to all the winners.
