BREAKING NEWS: Taxi overturns on Asiphephe Drive
The passengers were treated on scene for minor to moderate injuries.
16 people were injured when a taxi and a bakkie collided, causing the taxi to overturn, on Asiphehe Drive, earlier this afternoon.
According to TRIVS operational manager, Jan-Henk van Vuuren, the driver of the bakkie was entrapped, and fire department used the jaws of life to free the man.

“All the other passengers sustained minor to moderate injuries, and were transported to Madadeni Provincial Hospital for further medical treatment.”
The exact cause of the collision is unclear at this stage, and remains subject to police investigations.
