Go back in time with a time capsule

Spend some time and take a moment to shine

CREATE a time capsule as a family at the end of this year, which you can open again on the same day the following year and see how much has changed.

This is a fun, family activity that is sure to shock eveyone.

To create your time capsule, you will need:

*Large jam jar

*Cardboard (using scrapbook paper is also nice)

*Photos

*Pens

*Spade

*Glitter

*Craft or wood glue

*Ribbon

*Paintbrush

Method:

Start by decorating your jam jar by glueing on glitter and ribbon, in any design you like. You can go wild, after all, it is your time capsule. You can also add beads, photos, hearts…basically, whatever you like.

Leave your jam jar one side to dry.

While you wait for your capsule to dry, start filling your jar with precious mementos from now (photos, tickets, stories etc) (or you can keep it open and add to it through out the year before putting it away safely to be opened in the future).
