Dannhauser Sec tops the lot with 100% pass

Dannhauser Secondary is back at the top when it comes to matric results.
The school received a 100% pass rate this year, improving on last year’s 83%. Dannhauser Secondary also finished top in the Amajuba District.
The district achieved a 77.22% pass. Siphamandla Shabalala finished as the top learner with three A’s in IsiZulu, Life Orientation and Physical Science.

Siphamandla explained that he studied every chance he could, but didn’t expect to finish at the top of the class. He now plans to study medicine.
Simphiwe Nkabinde, who received A’s in IsiZulu and Life Orientation finished as the second best learner in the class.
Of the 55 learners who wrote, 27 achieved a Bachelor’s Pass, 26 achieved their Diplomas and 2 received Higher Certificates.

There were 100 percent passes in Physics, Geography, Business Studies, History, Mathematical Literacy, Isizulu, Life Orientation and English. The school also received a 97% pass for Life Science, a 90% pass for Afrikaans and an 87% pass for Mathematics.
