Madadeni Hospital aims to enrich the lives of its patients.

The day was celebrated in conjunction with the hospital's Staff day where Newcastle Community Aid and Upliftment (NCAU) community project prepared a hot meal in honour of the staff at Madadeni hospital.

MADADENI Provincial Hospital held a quality awareness day at its main hall on Tuesday, November 22.

The aim of this day was to educate the staff on putting patients first and enriching the quality of their lives.

The day was celebrated in conjunction with the hospital’s Staff day where Newcastle Community Aid and Upliftment (NCAU) community project prepared a hot meal in honour of the staff at Madadeni hospital.

This charity group is facilitated by Doctor Ahmed Jamaloodeen who funds this project annually.

Approximately 365 staff members were present and motivational speeches were delivered to the staff.

The day also saw various stall holders offering medical screening of hypertension, diabetes, Tuberculosis and HIV.

Psychologist support information and stress management were some of the services offered to further educate staff members.
