Business, police team up to alleviate Christmas blues
The Chinese Protection Forum (CPF), partnered with the Dundee SAPS to make the handovers possible

It was a wonderful day for 100 needy residents who received a welcome Christmas gift of food and stationery courtesy of concerned business people and the Dundee SAPS.
The Chinese Protection Forum (CPF), partnered with the Dundee SAPS, and surrounding areas, to identify deserving families from across five sectors in Dundee and surrounding areas.
The needy families were identified through the Department of Social Development, war rooms and ward councillors.
The effort has been in place for seven years with local supermarkets, SuperSave Supermarket, and Pik ‘n Win, teaming up with the CPF, based in Newcastle, to give back to the community.
Jubilation greeted the police officers, members of the CPF and others who on Monday distributed the welcome gifts in the week leading up to Christmas.
These business people are happy to give back to the community and have vowed to continue with this noble project.
