The Town Clock is stuck in the past and even into the New Year, the clock hasn’t been fixed and time stands still.
The Town Clock plays an important part in the town’s historical value and is also a tourist attraction, with many tourists visiting our town from South African and abroad due to Ladysmith having a rich heritage.
Local residents want the Town Clock to be back up and running again so the town doesn’t get a bad name for itself.
The Town Clock is currently stuck at 10.12…
The municipality responded by saying that the clock is currently in the process of being repaired.
Only time will tell how long it will take before the clock is ticking smoothly once again.
