2 men arrested for theft in Egerton area, Ladysmith
1 suspect is still at large
Two suspects were arrested for theft in the Egerton area this morning (January 27).
An off-duty police officer spotted three men walking with hose pipe believed to have been stolen from a resident’s house.
The officer gave chase, joined by policemen from the Tactical Response Team (TRT) and Crime Intelligence Gathering (CIG) Unit.
Two of the men were arrested near a shopping complex in the Egerton area, and one is still at large.
